การท่องเที่ยวเป็นเครื่องมือการพัฒนาเพื่อให้ชุมชนสามารถพึ่งพาตนเองได้ จากกระบวนการดาเนินงานของการจัดการท่องเที่ยวโดยชุมชน ที่คานึงถึงความยั่งยืนของสิ่งแวดล้อม สังคม และวัฒนธรรม กาหนดทิศทางโดยชุมชน จัดการโดยชุมชนเพื่อชุมชนและชุมชนมีบทบาทเป็นเจ้าของมีสิทธิ์ในการจัดการ ทั้งนี้ชุมชนใดที่สามารถดาเนินงานการท่องเที่ยวโดยชุมชนได้อย่างดี มีขีดความสามารถในการจัดการปัญหาของตนเองได้ในระดับหนึ่งด้วยการมีผู้นาที่มีความสามารถ มีการเรียนรู้ร่วมกันอย่างต่อเนื่องบนพื้นฐานของวัฒนธรรม ความเชื่อ คุณค่าดั้งเดิม ศาสนา และเศรษฐกิจชุมชนถือได้ว่าเป็นชุมชนเข็มแข็ง
Abstract
Tourism is a development tool for communities to support themselves.
